Gardner Bender’s Patented Double Lock Cable ties are designed for strength, durability and reliability. Ideal for all bundling purposes; wires, cables, hoses, or ducts, you name it, and these ties will bundle it.
Made from durable 100 percent nylon 6/6 material, these ties feature our patented Double Lock design, with locking teeth on both sides of the tie and at the head ensuring a stronger connection and 50 percent greater tensile strength than the industry standard. The bent tip ensures easy insertion into the tie head while close serrations on both sides of the tie promote precise adjustment. The smooth radiuses edges ensure easy “slip” as you tighten while finger grips on the end ensure a secure and comfortable grip when hand-tightening.
Investigated using particular requirements that allowed it to be a UL recognized component and with a serviceable temperature range from 32° F -185° F these ties are designed to last.

The Harris Stay-Silv 5 medium-silver PhosCopper brazing alloy is designed for copper to copper applications. It can also be used on copper to low zinc brass but this application requires use of Stay Silv white brazing flux.
Like many phosphorus/copper brazing filler metals Stay Silv 5 will flow rapidly when heated quickly to its liquidus. This allows penetration into tight clearance connections. With slower heating the alloy melting range provides the ability to filler wider gaps.
Stay Silv 5 is often chosen as an economical alternative to higher silver content alloys for copper and brass applications.

The important advantage of Stay-Brite® solders is the greater strength of the overall component. After joining, its lower working temperature eliminates the weakening of the base metals caused by annealment from high brazing heat. The result is a stronger, more economical joint.
Stay-Brite® silver bearing solders have the same excellent affinity as SafetySilv® alloys for bonding with most of the ferrous and nonferrous alloys (including stainless steel, nickel, copper, brass, etc.) It provides a considerably higher than necessary elongation for sound dissimilar metal joints and vibration applications.
Stay-Brite® alloys range in temperature from 430°F to 535°F. Stay-Brite® solder eliminates oxide scale formed from brazing heat. No nitrogen purge is required for HVAC/R tubes. They are cadmium free and nontoxic. Stay-Brite® is a eutectic alloy with a single melting point of 430°F (221°C).

The Harris 50/50 common lead-bearing solder With some exceptions, can be used to join copper and most copper alloys, lead, nickel alloys and steel. Tin-lead solders are not recommended for joints subject to high stress or vibration in the cooling industry due to lack of sufficient elongation properties. These solders are also available with rosin or acid core. Note: It is illegal to use lead solders in both public and private potable water systems.
CAUTION: Lead-bearing solders are not to be used in potable water systems.
Typical Application: A tin-lead alloy with a wide melting range. Used for automotive, radiator, general purpose soldering, electrical applications.
